a beaver motif alluding to the 19th century astor family fortune in pelt trading / a forrest green support beam / subway grime du jour / green speckled tile / freckled ceiling rust / the station namesake / emergency exit instructions on newly minted laminate / geometric porcelain panels arranged by the same dude who created the i ♥ ny logo / a groovy women’s bathroom sign / the platform edge i don’t dare encroach upon unless i’m scrapping of course / royal blue tile / slate tiled walls that i’m sure wish they could talk…
